Packing, Shipping & Returns
Shipping Information:
In the UK your item will be shipped by either Royal Mail 1st Class or 2nd Class Mail Recorded Delivery, larger parcels will be shipped by Courier.
Overseas/International Shipping: The shipping rate is calculated on the weight of your package. If you are purchasing multiple items we can offer a combined discount. All orders are shipped fully insured with Tracking.
Refunds, Returns & Exchanges
In the unlikely event that your item arrives damaged we would ask that you contact us and attach a picture of the damaged item together with the packaging in order that we can make an insurance claim with the Carrier.
If you feel that your item has been misrepresented or not as described we can accept a return. We cannot refund postage costs. Please repackage in the original packaging and return to us using a recorded trackable mail service. The buyer is responsible for ensuring returned goods are not damaged in transit.
We reserve the right to issue a replacement if available, failing which a refund. Please contact us before returning any item. Where your item forms part of a set we reserve the right to replace on a pro rata basis.
Lost items: Where an item is undelivered and deemed “missing” ie, the carrier has failed to deliver, we will initiate a claim with the Carrier on your behalf supplying all supporting documentary evidence. Once the claim has been settled in your favour we will refund you the full settlement through the original payment method used at the time of purchase.
Shipping Policy
100% Success Rate in Posting UK & Overseas. We have been shipping parcels worldwide for over 20 years. All our items are properly packaged and secured to ensure they arrive with you safely and in perfect condition. We will post within 3-5 working days, sooner if we can. Please let us know if your order is urgent and we can Prioritise delivery for you.
All parcels are fully insured . In the event of a claim for a missing parcel the standard maximum sum insured will apply - (variations depend upon the selected carrier).
Overseas buyers are responsible for any Import Customs Dues/Liabilities/Documents in their home country. Vintage Teacup Company will not be held liable for any imported goods not collected at Customs. The buyer is responsible for liasing with their local customs office. Any goods not collected or refused at customs by the buyer and returned to Vintage Teacup Company will incur a restocking fee of 30%.
